25 - Sales Engineer.

We talked to an employee named Dirk, who lives in Cologne. Dirk started a dual study in 2010, which means studying and working for a company at the same time. He studied logistics management for three years in a German town called Bruehl. Meanwhile he successfully completed his practical part in the company "Serie A Logistics Solution AG", where he worked for one year afterwards.

Due to the fact that he was registered at LinkedIn, a website that enables business people to stay in contact, he received a job offer from Vanderlande. Since 2014 Dirk works two days a week in Veghel and the rest of the week in Dortmund in Germany, but he has to travel to other locations within Vanderlande in different countries as well. The reason for this is that the exchange of information between the locations of Vanderlande is essential, because each location is concentrated on a specific subject. Because giving presentations and taking part in meetings is part of his job, it is very important for him to be well organized.

Dirk is very satisfied with his job and convinced that choosing Vanderlande was the right decision. He noticed that working with Dutch and German business people has its advantages and disadvantages, but enjoys being active in both countries.
