Hope, 17, Scotland

I currently attend Trinity Academy in the centre of Edinburgh. In the future I aim to do a joint honours in geography and political science at Glasgow university after taking a gap year.

As this is my my last year I wanted to get to most out of my time in school. This is why I chose to take part in the Erasmus+ project; it has provided me with both educational and cultural experiences.

Ellen, 17, Sweden

I am in my the second year of studying economics at the gymnasium. I'm not sure what I'm going to study or work with in the future so I saw this project as an opportunity to figure it out.

I joined the Erasmus project because I thought it would be good for me to have some extra activities. It's very interesting to live with a host family and l speak their language. For me, it will now be easier to understand new cultures in the future. It's also very fun to connect with other teenagers around the world.

Sammi, 17, Scotland

I attend Trinity Academy and am currently study Maths, Physics and Chemistry. This is my final year at school and I am planning to go to university to study physics in September 2017.

I joined the Erasmus group as it gave me the opportunity to visit well established STEM companies to explore the jobs available in science throughout Europe. This experience has helped me meet wonderful people from very different cultures and it is an experience completely unique to Erasmus.

Ranya, 17, Sweden

I study economics and law in Sandagymnasiet. In the future I want to be a lawyer, because I want a good career and I want to have an impact on society. I also want to make a difference and do something worth while. I joined the Erasmus project because I want to practice the English language and learn more about how companies work and are organized.

I have always wondered how the airport handle baggage and I think it will be interesting to visit Vanderlande. I think I will learn a lot about the airport system. I look forward to the visit.

Louisa, 17, Germany

At the moment I am attending a school in the north of Germany called Waldschule Schwanewede. I will graduate in 2018 and afterwards probably go to the USA as an aupair for a year. Beyond I would like to start a dual study in a bank because I have already done an intership this year and it was a lot of fun.

I take part in the Erasmus program due to the fact that it is improving my English and it is very interesting and fascinating to meet new people from a different culture and to see and hear how they live. Reagarding Vanderlande I am exited to hear the stories of the employees and to know more about the company.

Carina, 16, Germany

I am currently attending the Waldschule in Schwanewede, Germany and I will graduate next year. After finishing school I would like to do a dual study, which means studying and working for a company at the same time in order to have practical experience while studying.

I wanted to participate in the Erasmus+ Project because I really liked the opportunity to improve my English, visit three different countries and gain knowledge about working abroad. I am very interested in finding out what kind of job opportunities Vanderlande offers and how an international company like this works. I am sure that the visit is going to be very beneficial for us!

Emma, 16, The Netherlands

Currently, I am attending gymnasium Beekvliet, as next year will be my last year in school I also have to think about the future. Ever since I was only five years old I have wanted to become a doctor - not that I am sure that I knew what it really meant at the time. However, my aim still is studying medicine at University. Health problems can have an incredible impact on people’s lives. As a medical doctor, you can really be there for someone by making a difference on exactly this domain.

I joined the Erasmus program because I wanted to both apply and enhance my organizational skills on an international level. So far, I have really enjoyed participating in the program and it has given me a great opportunity to see what it is like behind closed doors.

Maaike, 16, The Netherlands

I am a student at Gymnasium Beekvliet and I am in the fifth form. In my secondary school I study physics and maths, which I really like, so I am thinking about studying something technical like Architecture, Civil Engineering or Industrial Design, and therefore visiting Vanderlande will be a great opportunity to figure out whether this is something I really want to pursue.

I decided to participate in the program because I thought it would be interesting to work and communicate with people from other nationalities on a project such as the Erasmus+ project and to get new understandings of the different cultures.
